Photo Album: Snapshots of Our 2025 Juneteenth Celebration
We gathered for our third annual Juneteenth commemoration (and second annual pool party!) on Thursday, June 19, at Mars Hill Recreation Park. Friends, neighbors, and community members came together for a joyful evening of connection, reflection, food and fun.
The celebration began at the pavilion with a vibrant community potluck, where delicious dishes were shared and meaningful conversations took place. As the sun lowered, we cooled off in the pool, honoring freedom, resilience and the ongoing fight for racial justice.
